What Our Guests Are Saying

Don’t just take it from us, let our guests do the talking!

We had a wonderful time at Whitesand Shiel, what a beautiful cottage and setting. It was everything it said it was on the website and more, we would definitely recommend it to anyone, we also got to meet the owners on Sunday too! Thank you for your help , the whole experience has been wonderful.
Thorley - Sept 2015

We were very pleased with everything from the booking process to the accomodation. Whitesand Shiel is a beautifully renovated and well appointed cottage. Everything was of very good quality, be it towels or crockery, and the owners had clearly tried to anticipate every need. The first floor sitting area with the floor to ceiling windows is an amazing space and we left feeling relaxed and rested. We would happily recommend it!
Sharp - Sept 15

What can I say!?  What a place! Amazing. I was chilled, happy, and I came home and missed that little place. It was fab. One thing – I didn’t see if there was wifi but then why would you want to be on your phone or tablet with that view?? And then there was the surprise light display in the arches of the viaduct in the eve. Amazing.
